Installation and replacement procedure for the EWF2CBPA FC100 fridge water filter:

  • Turn Off the ice maker power switch.
  • Press the button to the right of the filter to release it.
  • Pull the old filter straight out and discard (the water will shut off automatically).
  • Push the new filter straight in until it snaps into place.
  • Turn On the ice maker power switch.
  • Run water through the water dispenser for 3 minutes to purge the system.

  • Reset the filter indicator light by pressing and holding the Reset button until the green light flashes (up to 15 seconds).

When to change a filter: The filter cartridge should be replaced when the change filter light comes on, or every 6 - 9 months.

Important: It is essential that operation, maintenance and filter replacement be carried out in accordance with manufacture's recommended procedures and guidelines for this product to perform as advertised. Failure to do so may void warranty.

Good but pricey!

Filter arrived safely and quickly. It appears to be working fine. But it is very expensive when shipping charge is added. And it should be replaced every 6 months. (Unlikely due to cost.)
